[Forward to a friend]( [Facebook]( [Twitter]( [Instagram]( [YouTube]( [RSS]( Some great news today about the next three venues confirmed for this crazy, Covid-19 inspired Formula 1 2020 schedule – starring two venues steeped in F1 folklore, Imola and the Nurburgring – plus a modern classic in Portimao. Imola is one of the finest circuits I’ve ever driven, and although the ‘new’ Nurburgring is a shadow of the Nordschleife it’s still a mighty racy F1 track. Portimao’s layout and topography is also sensational; funnily enough it cropped up in a conversation I was having with Emerson Fittipaldi just recently – who was blown away by its blind crests and technical nature when he first drove it.
