The Austrian Grand Prix exploded into life in its closing stages after the disappointment of Max Verstappen’s early exit. The lack of reliability on Sunday added an extra edge, feeling more like a grand prix from 30 years ago, and even Mercedes wasn’t immune. Such a shame we were robbed of a grandstand finish when Lewis Hamilton nerfed the charging Alex Albon off the track – Red Bull’s bold strategy gambles deserved more if nothing else.
