After an awesome weekend of racing around the world, on two wheels and four, the motorsport world was jolted today by the death of Daley Mathison in the opening Superbike race of the Isle of Man TT. Motorbike road racing is perhaps the one form of our sport that has changed the least, with its challenge as raw and visceral as it comes. The riders (and sidecar passengers) are the bravest of the brave, and go into every lap of the Mountain knowing the potential cost. Our condolences to his family and friends.
