The MoJo Daily newsletter, Monday through Friday. [View in browser]( [Mother Jones Daily Newsletter](     January 23, 2024 I'm still digging through our [new series on American oligarch](y, or as my colleagues brilliantly called it, a tragedy in four parts. But in between the [dark side of the $100 bill]( and the [right's obsession with "woke capitalism,](" I am keeping an eye on New Hampshire, where Nikki Haley is hoping for a miraculous upset against Donald Trump. That, of course, is not likely. But it also doesn't mean that New Hampshire Republicans love everything about the man facing 91 criminal counts. My colleague Abby Vesoulis spoke with some of his diehard fans who wished Trump would show some restraint. (As Abby put it, "[Lol](.") But after a brief chuckle, I can't help but feel once again demoralized with the state of this primary. The biggest issue these voters have with Trump is his bluster? Really, that's it? We're talking about a [twice-impeached, lying, racist plague]( who wants another shot at burning it all down. I'm not optimistic about where this election is headed—and sometimes I feel guilty for being so jaded. But reading Abby's on-the-ground dispatch, which offers a great snapshot into the mind of a GOP voter, has a strange way of motivating me. [How do you feel after reading her report](? Whatever the case, I think you'll enjoy what [one voter had to say about Trump's speechwriter](. —Inae Oh Advertisement [Busting The Bankers Club]( [Top Story] [Top Story]( [Some of Trump’s Biggest Fans Wish He Would Show a Little Restraint.
