The MoJo Daily newsletter, Monday through Friday. [View in browser]( [Mother Jones Daily Newsletter](     August 22, 2023 It's Tuesday of Georgia surrender week. Do you know where your co-defendants are? My colleague Arianna [brings us up to date on the 18 co-defendants]( who have until Friday to turn themselves in to Fulton County authorities for their alleged roles in Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the presidential election. As of this writing, two of them, including Trump's former lawyer John Eastman, have gotten their respective surrenders done and dusted. That brought up an interesting question: What if Trump refuses to turn himself in? Sure, he says he's going to show up for his mugshot on Thursday. But this is a famously chaotic individual, someone who has built an entire political career on giving the middle finger to normalcy. Well, [according to this]( piece, the police would simply have to turn on their sirens and go after the former president in order to complete the arrest. That seems unlikely. But maybe... So will Trump go Michael Bay on us and flip this entire script upside down? Probably not. But when it comes to Trump, it's always worth wondering how he'll burn things to the ground. —Inae Oh Advertisement [Banner featuring the book Home is Here by Rev.
