The MoJo Daily newsletter, Monday through Friday. [View in browser]( [Mother Jones Daily Newsletter](     November 16, 2022 [A loser](. That might seem petty, even harsh. But it's my belief that "loser" succinctly encapsulates Donald Trump, a delusional scourge who unequivocally lost a presidential election, was twice-impeached, and has been at the center of a neverending stream of lawsuits. A string of humiliating losses among the candidates he endorsed in last week's midterms has only added to that losing reputation. But Trump's official announcement that he's running for president once more isn't just an occasion to hurl insults, no matter how well deserved they are. It's both an end to the unique purgatory we've all been stuck in while waiting for a foregone conclusion to finally arrive, as well as a reason to remind us of the [abhorrent racism](, [endless absurdity](, [unspeakable cruelty](, and [lies]( that we may once again be subjected to. [That collection is here](. And while I might be biased as its author, I gotta say that recounting the Trump plague in [list form]( was something to behold. It's downright chilling. —Inae Oh Advertisement [Oxford University Press]( [Top Story] [Top Story]( [Democracy Was on the Ballot.
