The MoJo Daily newsletter, Monday through Friday. [View in browser]( [Support our nonprofit journalism]( [Mother Jones Daily Newsletter](     July 10, 2024 The [rebellion against Joe Biden]( continues, with more Democrats publicly—and rather frankly—doubting the president's ability to beat Donald Trump. They include Colorado Sen. Michael Bennet, who told CNN that he sees Donald Trump winning by a "landslide," and New York's Rep. Pat Ryan urging Biden to drop out. But it's former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, one of Biden's fiercest allies, who seems like the one to watch right now. Here's what she told MSNBC this morning: "It’s up to the president to decide if he is going to run. We’re all encouraging him to make that decision because time is running short. I want him to do whatever he decides to do." [As I noted earlier](, these remarks are at once respectful of the president and yet a far cry from the support he needs in this critical moment. This, coming from Pelosi, one of D.C.'s most skilled legislators, is no small thing. Demoralized by all this drama? Exhausted? Bored? Well, I'll leave you with this [keen observation]( from my colleague Tim Murphy. It made me genuinely chuckle. —Inae Oh Advertisement [The Language of Climate Politics: Fossil-Fuel Propaganda and How to Fight It is available now.]( [Top Story] [Top Story]( [More Democrats Yell (Respectfully) That Biden Should Reconsider Staying in the Race]( BY INAE OH FROM MOTHER JONES/REVEAL   Mother Jones/Reveal wants to hear from you! Yet, we just came up pretty short on our fundraising campaign. So even though we’re done screaming about [the donations we need]( for a while, if you value the journalism we do but haven’t pitched in recently, please [consider doing so now](—we urgently need a lot of help to make up for lost ground.
