The MoJo Daily newsletter, Monday through Friday. [View in browser]( [Support our nonprofit journalism]( [Mother Jones Daily Newsletter](     May 30, 2024 For all the aloofness I expressed in yesterday's newsletter while waiting for a verdict, I've got to say that I was wrong. Because it feels pretty darn satisfying to see that [Donald Trump has been found guilty]( on all 34 counts in his hush-money trial. [Trump will be sentenced on July 11](. He has already said that he plans to appeal, so as my colleague Russ Choma writes, this legal drama may not be resolved for years. Still, the historic nature of this criminal trial—the first ever for a former US president—cannot be overstated. It's also quite extraordinary that Trump needed just one juror out of the 12 to hang the jury, and [Trump's legal team could not manage to do that]( throughout the six-week trial. So let's check in with Trump once more, shall we? How's he doing at the moment?
