[Why today's sell-off was actually a good thing](

Well Traders, we can't exactly say they didn't warn us.
Stocks took a beating today with tech and growth among the hardest hit in the worst sell-off we've seen all summer.
Strategists said there was no particular catalyst, but froth had been building in those groups, and they had been caught up in a speculative frenzy that extended to the options market.
The dam was bound to burst sometime - so why not today?
After all, stocks typically face choppy waters in September, and the sell-off was seen as a healthy sign by strategists after Augustâs more than 7% gain in the S&P 500.
Ultimately, while uncomfortable to anyone who saw their portfolio take a hit today, this sell off was actually a good thing.

It's no longer just a "few" bad eggs.
The swelling number of Americans who have more sympathy and empathy for criminals than they do for the police is terrifying.
Because if America keeps it up, there won't be any police or law enforcement to defund.
They'll just quit, retire early or just stop showing up.
And who could blame them?
I keep reading that what we really have here is a spiritual problem. I'm inclined to agree. God and morals have all but been cancelled.
So maybe it's only natural that this is where we are right now.
But it could get a whole lot worse...
