This week we updated the site with a new theme that is more mobile ready and easy to read. Let me know what you think! Have a wonderful weekend all! Happy crafting! ♥ Love, Tamara Tip of the Week This week's tip is courtesy of Marly Bird designer and blogger at [Marly Bird]( Choosing Colors for Mosaic Crochet: Use soft and soothing colors or vivid high contrasting colors that really zing. Either way, the key when choosing colors for a mosaic stitch pattern is to have the colors recognizably different when next to each other or the stitches won’t show up. One way to check if your colors are contrasting enough is to take a picture of them, then make that picture black and white. If when turned into black and white are too similar then you might want to choose a different color combination. Look at what happens with the same picture in black and white. In the Oliver and Olivia Crochet Blanket pattern you can see that I made the sample with two contrasting colors and it really makes the mosaic pattern pop. Grab some yarn from your stash and play around with color combinations to make your perfect blanket :-) [( Featured Fan Photos If you want to share photos of items you've made from Moogly patterns, [click here to email them to me!](mailto:tkelly75@gmail.com?subject=I've got photos to share in the Moogly Email Newsletter!)
