I shared a picture of the inside of our pantry the other day and people were shocked that it wasn’t all neatly organized. [image]( Hi, {NAME}! We had a lot of fun recording [this week's episode of the podcast]( — and we learned a few things about each other in the process of recording it! What’s today’s podcast episode topic? The Enneagram and marriage. Whether you love all things Enneagram, are skeptical of it, or don’t even know what it is, I think you’ll enjoy this candid conversation about our differences, how we have worked through them, and what it looks like to love and respect someone who is the complete opposite of you in many ways. Pull up a chair (or a load of laundry!) and listen in as we chat about our big foster care news, grilling meat, my favorite makeup cleaner (and I make a confession that I might get some flack for), a book I’m reading, and marriage and the Enneagram! [Listen to the episode here.]( I Shocked You All With My Pantry! I shared a picture of the inside of our pantry the other day and people were shocked that it wasn’t all neatly organized. You guys, maybe I like clean countertops and we don’t have a lot of extra clutter at our house, but I’m far from close to this amazingly organized homemaker. In fact, I strive for good enough when it comes to most areas of homemaking. This means that we have a decently clean house (most of the time!) and super simple meals most nights (if you follow along on [my Instagram stories](, you already know this!), but there are absolutely zero parts of our house that would ever be featured on a decorating or organizing website. And I’m okay with that. Some people are amazing at decorating and organizing. That’s not my gifting nor is it life-giving to me. So I stick with good enough in those areas and I celebrate that. That said, I am really great at sticking with a budget, making creative meals with what we have on hand, and making people feel welcome in our home. So instead of constantly feeling like I’m not measuring up or doing enough as a homemaker when it comes to organizing and decorating, I focus on really exercising those areas where I am gifted and blessing my family and others through that. We can’t all do everything well. We aren’t all gifted in the same areas. And that’s why we need each other — and why there is such beauty when we use the gifts we’ve been given to bless others! What are you gifted at? What is life-giving to you? I’d love to hear! Let’s celebrate our own unique giftings and use those to bless the world! -Crystal P.S. Did you see the [Gift Guide for Tweens]( that Silas and Kaitlynn put together for all of you?
