There were 3,000 women there, including many of you! It’s always amazing to get to meet my readers in person and to get to hear your beautiful stories. [unnamed] [unnamed] Speaking of meeting people, one of the biggest highlights of the conference this weekend was getting to hang out with Erin from [The Humbled Homemaker] and Stacy from [Humorous Homemaking]. These two ladies are some of the most encouraging women I know. They love me in spite of my many short-comings. (Case in point, we were supposed to have dinner on Friday night and I was SO tired and drained from the day of speaking that they graciously let me bail at the last minute! On Saturday, we ended up finding this kitchen tucked away behind the gym at the huge church we were at and, in the middle of crazy and bustling conference with 3,000 women, we had a quiet, peaceful lunch break. It was just what this introvert needed!) One of the other highlights for me of the conference was getting to be there with my whole family. Jesse and all three kids came for most of the conference and helped to run the booth. They loved getting to meet many of you and I loved getting to experience the conference with them — something that rarely happens since most events I do are out of town! It was so much fun! [screenshot-2016-11-07-01-47-47] We also launched something brand-new and super exciting at the Business Boutique conference — my first ever [Blog Coaching Program]! I’ve had a lot of people beg me for something like this for a long time and I just haven’t had the capacity to make it happen. But this year, because I cleared so many other things out of my schedule and re-prioritized and re-focused, I have the space to make it happen. I’m SO excited about it — and would love for you to [check it out] if you’re a beginner or intermediate blogger (we’re only opening up registration for the next 3 days and then the 4-Week Program starts on November 14!) [Check out all the details here]. [My Favorite Fall Tunic] I bought [this tunic] recently and absolutely love it. It comes in five different colors and is a perfect fall transition top. I love how it fits me. It’s flow-y and figure flattering without being all baggy or drape-y. (Though Silas did proceed to tell me the first time I wore it, “You look like you’ve gained some weight, Mom!” Oh the joys of living with little people who say whatever they think!! :)) [My Favorite Fall Tunic] I can wear it dressed up with [the boots I got recently], [black leggings], and a [statement necklace]. I think this is a more sophisticated look. (Pardon the pony tail that doesn’t really exude sophistication! I was running short on time the day I took these photos, so a pony tail just had to do!) [My Favorite Fall Tunic] Or, I can easily change up the look of the tunic by wearing a knit infinity scarf and riding boots. This is a bit more of a casual look and it’s very comfortable while also still being cute! [screen-shot-2016-04-12-at-5-13-04-pm-1] If you’re looking for something more unique to give as a gift this year for Christmas (or to suggest for grandparents or relatives to give to your kids/you for Christmas!), I highly recommend monthly subscription boxes! They are such a unique gift, many of them are so practical, and they are a gift that keeps on giving — all through the year! Check out [this round-up of my 6 Favorite Subscription Boxes], complete with my honest reviews of each! [unnamed] Last week, I told you some about [my new eating plan] and how it had changed my life. Many of you had a lot of questions on what I’m eating/how it works, etc. Well, here’s one little example of something I’m doing as part of it: I now drink a gallon+ of lemon water every single day. I’ve been amazed at what a difference drinking a gallon+ of water every day has made in my life! It was hard to get into the habit of drinking so much water, but the health benefits of staying hydrated have impacted so many areas of my life. And that alone is plenty of motivation to keep this habit up! By the way, after last week’s email, dozens and dozens and dozens of you asked for more details on my nutritional plan, my nutritionist, and how you could sign up with him. He’s been working on getting some videos together with more details on his plan and I’ll be sending those to each of you who asked over this coming week. Thanks for your patience and, if you emailed me about it, look for an email from me soon! Have a GREAT week! Crystal P.S. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
