Plus, this week's podcast and Silas' performance! Hi, Friend! We're in the thick of end-of-school stuff here! Kathrynne finished her first year of college and decided to move back home for the summer. We are LOVING having her here again for the summer -- especially since she will likely be interning in another state next summer! Kaitlynn just finished up two HUGE end-of-school projects today and is almost done with high school! She doesn't graduate officially until the 25th, but there are lots of fun things to commemorate the end of high school between now and then -- including senior dinner, a senior trip with her whole class to FL, end-of-year awards, end-of-year dinner, and senior sunset dinner! We celebrated Kaitlynn and my other senior girls in my youth group small group (plus the rest of the seniors!) on Sunday. It was a special day to pray over them and mark the end of this season! Silas heads into high school in the fall, so he gets to enjoy some special things to finish out middle school --including an 8th blessing breakfast on Friday. I know the end of school season can feel like a lot with projects and parties and ceremonies and so many different things, but I'm really seeking to streamline things so I can savor this time instead of just trying to survive this time. It is special and I don't want to miss the moments because I'm just trying to hold on and make it through! For the past year, I've been praying for God to bring some wise women into my life to mentor me. I was convicted of this when I had Natalie Runion on the podcast and she was saying, "Leaders need to be led." I stopped and realized that I am leading in the online space and elsewhere and I didn't have anyone in my life who was ahead of me in business and in life and doing similar things to me who was also mentoring and leading me. So I began praying and looking! Wouldn't you know? God opened up the door for me to hire Alli Worthington as my business coach (which has been AMAZING!) and then I got invited to be part of a mastermind with 15 other women who are in leadership roles in companies (mostly much larger than mine) who also want to really prioritize family well. Our mastermind had our first in-person meeting last week and I left with my soul feeling so filled up and also being so challenged as a business owner and leader. I'm so grateful for God's direct answer to my prayers in providing not just one mentor but over 15!!! [Living Proof]() is offering an exclusive deal to my followers right now! Order $50+ of any product on their site (except for the discounted gift sets) and use coupon code MSM25 and you’ll get 25% off any order + free shipping! If you order $100+ (after the discount), you’ll get a jumbo-sized dry shampoo added to your order. Be sure to use coupon code MSM25 to get this deal! Deal Suggestion: The best deal (I think!) is to [add 2 jumbo-sized dry shampoos + one travel-sized shampoo]( to your cart. You’ll be right over the $75 price point and will qualify for 25% off, free shipping, and a free can of dry shampoo! If you’ve been following for any length of time, you know that I’m a BIG fan of [Living Proof Dry Shampoo](! In fact, they’re a big part of why I’m able to only wash my hair once per week. So I’m SUPER excited about this sale as it’s a really rare deal. Psst! I only have to use a little bit each night before bed, so one can lasts me a really long time! If you want to see how I apply it, [head over to Instagram stories](! Valid through May 9, 2024. [Go here to get this Living Proof Dry Shampoo deal.]( Silas took Performing Arts this past semester and we got to attend his Showcase presentation -- a rendition of Peter Pan. It was fun to see him step outside his comfort zone and try something very different. He said it was his first and only time to perform in a show, but that it was a good experience! :) I loved that Kathrynne and Kaitlynn were both able to work out their schedules to be there to watch him perform! Silas turned 15 yesterday and he celebrated with a big party at TopGolf. He planned the entire party himself -- down to who would attend, inviting them, negotiating a deal with TopGolf, figuring out how to split all the people up among three different bays, and figuring out who would ride with who so that everyone had transportation. Jesse and I literally just showed up and drove! And they were all so self-sufficient that we even got some time to play golf by ourselves! It almost felt like a date! I will say that while I love 8th grade boys, they are LOUD!! Especially when there is a whole group of them together! And their energy levels are almost on par with toddlers! :) :) Silas also invited his sisters and some of their friends... which I absolutely love! (Kaitlynn is hiding back behind in this photo, as is Jesse! One of the best parts of having older kids who are somewhat close in age is that their friends overlap! I love that Silas totally wants his sister's 20-year-old college friend to be at his party because she's like a sister to him, too! We've been talking about friendship on Instagram stories today and I wanted to share this slide that I posted for those who didn't see it. If you are struggling to find time for building relationships, I hope this encourages you! [Last week's podcast episode]( was on a topic that was requested by a follower! Jesse and I share what it’s been like navigating back-to-back senior years with our daughters, Kathrynne and Kaitlynn! It has been a whirlwind of emotions and logistics and Jesse and I are opening up about our experiences – the highs, the challenges, the blessings, and the unexpected lessons that we have learned along the way. Jesse and I talk about things we learned the hard way, how it’s been different for each daughter, what has been easier about going through senior year the second time, and just fun insider information about the experiences that we haven’t shared elsewhere online. Whether you have a senior or a child in high school or just are curious what we’ve learned, I hope that you enjoy listening to us discuss our experiences these past two years! [Listen to the episode here.]( _______________ Here's to a week of savoring what's in front of us and not missing the moments in the rush of life. Stop, look, notice, pay attention, and take a minute or so each day to recount your blessings! Have a wonderful week! -Crystal [Unsubscribe]( Money Saving Mom, LLC 2020 Fieldstone Parkway, Ste. 900 #313 Franklin, Tennessee 37069 United States
