Catching a wave in the market is all about timing ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ?

Catching a wave in the market is all about timing ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Utah isn't known for its surfing or its oceans for that matter. But we do have one claim to fame in the surfing world—kind of. If you dig into your pop-culture treasure trove, you may unearth a cult classic by the name of Point Break. Johnny Utah, played by Keanu Reeves, was an undercover FBI agent sent to investigate a series of bank robberies by a suspected gang of surfers who disguised themselves as ex-presidents. I mean, can you get any cooler than being an ex-president surfer bank robber? Now, like most Utahans, Johnny Utah didn't know how to surf. And his first several attempts nearly led to his drowning. But eventually, thanks to movie magic, he became quite good really fast. The thing is, with surfing, catching a wave is all about timing. If you watch professional surfers, they patiently watch the ocean for some mysterious sign that a big wave is brewing. When their spidey senses kick in they start paddling toward the beach like a maniac, way before less experienced surfers even think to start paddling. As the wave breaks, they have to be in the perfect position to surf the curl. The magical way the wave curls around them while they stay safe within its powerful embrace is pretty awe-inspiring to watch. Most of us never get to experience that feeling. If we even get in the water, to begin with we'll just paddle around on our board, watching the wave roll under us because we weren't prepared or didn't know when to start paddling. All opportunities to catch the perfect wave go unfulfilled because we don't know when to start paddling. If we move too soon, we could hit the beach before the wave even develops. If we move too late, the wave just passes us by. So we sit there, frozen in the water, worrying about what lurks beneath us as everyone else catches the wave and rides it to freedom. The money you have saved in your account losing value to inflation is missing every wave that rolls in from the deep ocean. If you don't start paddling like a maniac, the wave will roll under you, and you'll miss it. I might not have the smokey blue eyes that Tyler Ann Endicott has (the character played by Lori Petty, who taught Utah how to surf), but I know a thing or two about timing and patience. And when to start paddling. Hit reply and let's chat about how you can protect your money so you can catch the next wave that is slowly brewing around us.
