Financial experts are trained to make this as confusing as possible so you shut off your brain ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ “Chris, you are a lot smarter than you look.” Um, thanks? I’ve actually had clients say that to me after meeting with me about their policy. And I’m okay with that. There is a lot of confusion around our finances, and many of us don’t feel very smart when it comes to all the fancy jargon, lingo, and banker’s math thrown at us by the big-shot financial gurus. And that’s intentional. You see, financial experts are trained to make this as confusing as possible so you shut off your brain, send it on a vacation to Maui, and just tell them, “Fine, whatever you say.” I chose not to attend big financial conferences and hang out with the big-name insurance guys for that particular reason—I don’t want to pick up their BS jargon and manipulative practices. They don’t hang out with you and me and the average Joe. They don’t know what it’s like to get financially creative to send a kid to college or plan for a comfortable retirement a little bit late in the game. I’m fine sounding like an idiot if that means I can show you in a simple way why I believe my infinite banking policy will blow theirs out of the water any day. I believe people are more intelligent than they give themselves credit for because we all have intuition that tells us if something doesn’t feel right. That’s why I don’t want my potential clients to ever fear asking questions. The only way to feel comfortable with moving forward is to understand what you are signing your name on. Follow your intuition. If it’s telling you to keep looking, I respect that. No hard feelings. But if you want someone to explain it to you like you are five, I’m your guy. Because our desire to take care of our family and our financial future shouldn’t be complicated and filled with worry. Set up a meeting today and let me show you how to do infinite banking the right way.
