But it was ultimately a blessing ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ â€

But it was ultimately a blessing ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ Did you know I was totally broke in 2008? Like $1M+ in debt and climbing everyday! The last recession was brutal on me personally, as well as the business I was in at the time. I was drowning in expenses, while my income was dismal. The previous business I helped start was on the verge of bankruptcy. I would stay to late every night worrying about how I could recover from this. - I turned in my Mercedes before it would be repossessed. - The banks wouldn't let us sell the house for less than we owed (since home values had plummeted) - I felt shameful, like a fraud, because I was teaching about financial freedom while I was in bondage, relying on welfare and handouts from our church, family, and friends. - Creditors were calling multiple times a day where I just stopped answering my phone. - Even my wife at the time was suggesting taking the kids and leaving me alone until I "figured my stuff out." Almost any hope had left me, despite my pleadings to God for deliverance multiple times a day. It's AT THAT POINT, when you're about to give up, that the light at the end of the tunnel begins to glimmer. Late one night, I was playing Kiyosaki's game "Cashflow 202" when a concept hit me like lightning. I was trying to solve the question about how to get out from my mountain of debt. - Do I pay off the Highest interest rate? - Do I pay the lowest balance or the highest balance? The answer was NEITHER! THAT is when my Cash Flow Index formula was born! First, I tested it on myself and began to slowly find some relief. But I didn't realize how special it was until I tested it on a young client, fresh out of college. She had student loans, credit cards, and an auto loan. You should have seen the look on her face when I said, "Pay all of your monthly expenses with your credit card so you can pay off your car loan next month. This will save you $250/month." "You want me to indirectly use my credit card to pay off my car?!" "Yes! You can then take that $250/month and still pay off the credit card this year, and barely get charged any more interest. But this way, your cash flow is healthier, and you'll breathe easier each month. By the end of the year, you should free up over $500 per month." THAT was the beginning of something incredible. MILLIONS have since heard this formula taught by more than just me. Some even claim they created it 😆 I eventually dug out of that debt hole. But more importantly, it's helped liberate so many others as well. REMEMBER THIS: Sometimes our biggest obstacles can be a blessing in the lives of others in a way you never thought possible. NEVER LOSE HOPE! KEEP MOVING FORWARD!
