[Fast Profits with Money Morning] November 7, 2018 Editor's Note: Yesterday, D.R. Barton, Jr., told you what the midterm elections were likely to do to markets - but warned that Election Day uncertainty was making options trading too expensive. He suggested you wait until today to make a Fast Profits trade. As promised, he has one for you now. - Kerri Shannon Publisher, Fast Profits with Money Morning Dear Fast Profits Member, D.R. Barton, Jr., here. The midterm election results are in - and things went exactly as we predicted: The Democrats took over the House of Representatives and the Republicans retained control of the Senate. But there was one notable exception: The Republicans made a much stronger showing in the Senate than the polls anticipated by snagging those four additional seats. What does that mean for the markets? Well, we're already seeing a positive reaction. In fairness, most of this is due to "post-event relief" as traders finally exhale and put this bit of uncertainty behind us. But this rebound is likely to be jittery as trade negotiations drag on with China. So I'm going to go ahead and suggest we make our move and buy calls now on one of the strongest big tech stocks that has proven its resilience time and time again: Microsoft. Here's the trade: Buy MSFT Dec. 14, 2018 $112 calls ([MSFT181214C00112000](). Look to pay no more than $2.50. The company's surging cloud and gaming businesses, matched with its strong cash cow PC operating system and software businesses, make MSFT a company with great prospects moving forward. It also has less vulnerability to the near-term trade headwinds we're likely to face. This is a great opportunity to pick up a great big tech company "on sale" and ride the wave as the rebound happens. Thanks for joining me this week on Fast Profits. Until next time, D.R. Barton, Jr. P.S. Have you claimed your FREE copy of my book yet? It will show you how you can amass $1 million or more in as little as 11 weeks.
