Happy Thursday Today is May 25, also known as National Wine Day! 🍷 But wine is for winners...[so slide on over to the main room for the morning show, starting at 8:30 AM ET right here!]( Right afterwards, stick around for an entire half hour of Shah Gilani! Take that to the bank. Nasdaq futures are up BIG TIME, nearly 2% at time of writing, after a strong earnings report from Nvidia (NVDA). S&P futures are up more than 0.5%. Yesterday, the market fell as debt ceiling concerns grew, and the U.S.' AAA credit rating was put on negative watch. This morning traders receive several significant economic reports which could move markets. Preliminary GDP on a quarter over quarter basis and Unemployment Claims numbers drop at 8:30 AM ET. Pending home sales on a month over month basis release at 10AM ET. And any news regarding a resolution to the debt ceiling, with the X-Date rapidly approaching right after a holiday weekend, could move markets. Shares of chipmaker Nvidia (NVDA) rose 27% in after hours trading Wednesday, after the company gave stronger than expected revenue guidance for its fiscal second quarter. NVDA, which was already up nearly 120% year to date, sparked a run in all things AI-related, dragging AMD (AMD), Taiwan Semiconductor (TSM), and Google (GOOG) higher in extended trading. Here's some movers and earnings reports our traders may have an eye on this morning: Premarket movers: NVDA, NA, PLTR, AMD, KBNT, IFBD, XYF Notable earnings names: Nvidia (NVDA), Snowflake (SNOW), Best Buy (BBY), Dollar Tree (DLTR) I know a big schedule may be confusing when things aren't laid out in front of you.
