Do not get distracted by the noise in crypto   Monday, April 3, 2023 [Twitter]( [YouTube]( Hey Reader, I can tell that people are still surprised by my willingness to be open minded about cryptocurrencies. Of course I am still almost entirely focused on traditional investment vehicles, because right now there's plenty of volatility in the stock market to keep me occupied. And plenty of drama, as well... But unlike others, I have actually become more open minded as I get older (thanks for the birthday wishes), and I realize that there absolutely could be a future where [Bitcoin and its "peers"]( play a significant role in the world economy... what that economy looks like is another question. The problem is separating what actually matters in the crypto space from so much of the noise that distracts people. Like a story that just hit today! Via Coindesk.com Honestly, I had sort of forgot Dogecoin was even a thing, and I wish I was never reminded. Now, similar to the wild action we have seen in [stocks like C3.ai Inc (AI)]( I'm not here to tell you how to trade Doge or even completely dismiss it -- I have long ago capitulated to the fact that this world is upside down and expecting things to make sense is not the way to live! So maybe Doge actually becomes a real part of society, who knows. The bigger point is there are right ways to invest in crypto for the long term and wrong ways, and with so many headlines more focused on getting clicks than helping readers, it can be easy to get distracted and make poor decisions. This is why we felt it was so important to make crypto analyst Nick Black a major part of this network. Nick will be live tomorrow in the free room at 11 AM ET to cover the latest crypto headlines, but more importantly he's putting on a [special class this Friday]( to prepare for the digital future. [Get access to Nick's digital master class](. Again, Nick will be in the Money Morning LIVE room tomorrow at 11 AM ET, but the stream kicks off in the pre-market at 8:30 AM ET.
