This morning, markets will react to the Consumer Price Index for December. The consensus was for a CPI of 6.5%. For the last two days, I’ve argued that traders are better off reacting to this CPI figure during market hours than trying to guess what would happen. Two days ago saw the weakest insider buying activity of the last 12 months. Trying to pick a bottom is a fool’s errand right now.
