We have Nonfarm payrolls reporting this morning. Energy looks like it is starting to top again - despite the ongoing pressure around Russia. There is also weakness in the utilities sector that has kicked in over the last 24 hours. The algorithmic movements of this markets have disrupted a significant amount of trend investing over the last 12 months. Things have amplified over the last few weeks with a lot of emphasis on the Fed, interest rates, and inflation. This is the most challenging market that I’ve ever traded. Of course, in trading, there can be bad stretches - and difficult periods that make you question if your strategy can hold up. It can. It will.
