I’m watching the S&P 500 surge to the 3,900 support level. The move came after the Commerce Department announced that the October Consumer Price Index came in at 7.7%. The financial media is doing backflips, saying that “inflation is slowing.” The Biden Administration said today’s CPI report proves their efforts to contain inflation are working. Oh. My. Goodness. I feel like I am taking crazy pills. Today’s CPI number is actually terrible. Today’s CPI number shows that people don’t understand inflation.
