The shares are up more than 8% before the open. - Nio (NIO): Fellow EV stock is also gaining post-earnings, last seen up 5.6%. The Chinese company reported stronger-than-expected revenue for the time period, but its quarterly loss widened somewhat significantly. - Tesla (TSLA): Keeping the EV theme going, eyes will remain on Tesla today, as Elon Musk's Twitter drama continues. TSLA shares are pacing for a 50% haircut on a year-to-date basis, coming off a two-year low. Yesterday traders reacted to news that Musk sold nearly $4 billion in TSLA stock. In other market news... It's worth noting that Meta Platforms (META) stock jumped yesterday following the news that the company's laying off roughly 11% of its workforce. As I discussed on the morning show, the company's we really need to worry about are the ones NOT announcing layoffs. We could see more stocks rally following layoff announcements, as investors applaud efforts to cut costs.   Recent Winners From the Trading Team 23% on DOW by Olivia Voz 211% on SPX by Mark Sebastian 189% on VLO by Tom Gentile #   [TRADE SCHOOL](   Resources [Welcome Guide]( [Trader 101 Starter Pack]( [Options Trading Starter Pack]( [Volume Profile Starter Pack]( Take Advantage of Your Free Foundational Courses - Complete Trading 101, 201, & 301 guides, covering ALL the basics - Full courses in options trading, from beginner to advanced - All the latest hot clips from our traders showing EXACTLY what & how they’re trading - Plus MUCH MORE! [EXPLORE OUR FREE CONTENT]( [Image]( [We're All About Trading - And We Do It Every Day]( Money Morning LIVE is a new kind of financial broadcast built around YOU, the viewer. Every morning, our expert trading team goes live in our free trading room to highlight the most important stock market stories and analysis. Our free chat room also features tons of trading resources to help you improve your trading abilities. Real-time support from our moderators and trading community. At the end of our day, that is our goal: to create the best live trading community on the internet. And we’re on our way to reaching that goal. We have seen consistent growth since Day One, and that’s why we are always welcoming new members to the chat each day. Because at the end of the day, the stock market has changed. The days of buy-and-hold only are gone. If you want to get serious about your money, you need to be looking for trades based on the latest trends and information, and Money Morning LIVE was built to bring them to you. In fact, most members of our chat are placing trades alongside their long-term positions. Again, the trading room is free ALL DAY, EVERY DAY. Our experts will see your comments in the chat and we can even talk about the charts YOU want to see. We are putting together an entire trading ecosystem, supplying our readers and viewers with a steady stream of new educational clips from our shows. The best part is that our trading team consists of a wide variety of experts. We have options specialist Mark Sebastian. He tends to bring us the biggest option trades in the market, along with his own version on how we can trade it. Host and Volume Profile expert Olivia Voz shows us the price points we need to watch on the day’s biggest charts. If you have a stock chart you want to analyze, she’s your girl. Drop the ticker in chat and one of our moderators will point it her way. Day trader Kenny Glick helps us look past the major headlines and focus on what matters: PRICE, or to be more specific Volume-Weighted Average Price (VWAP). It’s just one little line on a chart, but it’s all Kenny cares about. Why worry about what’s going to happen tomorrow when there’s money to be made RIGHT NOW Quantitative Analyst Chris Johnson is a premiere trader, too, but if we’re being honest, he’s just here to keep us all calm. Of course, that’s a pretty great trait to have in a trader itself. These are just a few of the traders we bring on the show every day. We have a rotating crew of traders and experts that keeps the show fresh and informational, making sure we are covering the market from every single angle. Go jump into the free chat room, create a username, and join the conversation. We’re here every single day the market is open, finding the top trading opportunities.
