With all three of the major indices down nearly 20 to 30 percent this year, I certainly understand the anxiety investors must be feeling. In a matter of a few months, the market has swallowed all of your 2021 investment gains. Our economy is certainly fragile right now, and it can take years to recover what you've accomplished. Having a fixed dollar amount per trade is important. Alter the number of contracts to accommodate your allowable investment amount, but do not alter the amount of each investment. Apply the formula above to see how it works.
