[Midday Momentum] Friday, June 10, 2022 [Wednesday's Long Shot Jumps 492% As Market Tanks]( By Garrett {NAME} Improving Sectors: Nothing. Only five stocks hit 52-week highs today. Weakening Sectors: Everything. Watchlist BLTE, PME, PBT, XOM, NTR, MU [Midday Momentum]( here at 12:30 pm (ET).]( Dear Reader, Since the launch of Midday Momentum, I've been looking for a Hot Long Shot that can pay off immensely. However, I always warn you - upfront... that this is a low probability trade. It's critical to understand that if an option has a 6% probability of profiting, you only have a 1 in 16.5 chance of making money on it. I'm looking for an option that appears mispriced in this environment. If I think an option should be a 1 in 10 chance, then the odds are statistically in my favor. That happened on Wednesday when I pointed out the day's longshot. I wrote: Next Friday's ProShares UltraPro Short QQQ (SQQQ) $56 call is $0.65. It's a very low probability trade in the 6% range. If the market implodes, this will be a winner. Don't bet much. It's a long shot... for a reason. The market would have to drop significantly. But who knows in this environment? Today, that same option - the June 17, 2022 SQQQ $56 call trades at $3.85. So, if you haven't taken profits off this trade yet - now is the time. You'll want to sell half of your position... and hold the rest with a tight stop at $2.60 to ensure a 300% gain on the remaining half. That said, there could be even more pain next week. If you didn't notice... the market has tanked. And it might have much further to go thanks to inflation mismanagement.
