QQQ with the 50-day moving average Yes, I'm talking about the QQQ, which is right now sitting at its 50-day moving average. You can also see how the round $400 level has acted as a ceiling for the index, as well. These are two technical levels to watch moving forward as we head into the new year. Of course, as I like to point out, we still have almost 70% of all stocks trading below their 50-day moving average. So even though the QQQ is holding just above its own 50-day, most stocks are still below this closely watched trendline, showing just how weak most of the market has actually been.
