Here's what Green Zone Power Ratings says⦠Published By Money & Markets, LLC. February 24, 2024 Published By Money & Markets, LLC. February 24, 2024 [Turn Your Images On] NVDA Wasn't the Only Stock With Moves This Week Editor's Note: Every week, you watch stocks from industries across the board pop (or drop), but you may wonder if it's time to buy in. That's what today's Money & Markets Daily is all about. We'll show you some of the week's biggest movers and then run them through Adam O'Dell's proprietary Green Zone Power Ratings to see how they stack up. - Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA): The market braced for the ["Bullish"]( chipmaker's earnings report on Wednesday, waiting to see if AI's trend was here to stay. And after a blockbuster call, investors piled in and triggered a broader bull market rally. The stock jumped 18% between Wednesday's and Friday's close. - Rivian Automotive Inc. (Nasdaq: RIVN): On the bearish side of the market, executives for this electric vehicle maker said the company's on track to fall well short of production expectations in 2024, and it's laying off 10% of its workforce. It was another blow to the ["High-Risk"]( stock as shares sank more than 30% to close out the week. - Fox Factory Holding Corp. (Nasdaq: FOXF): Sticking with earnings surprises, this popular bike part manufacturer posted a massive earnings miss due in part to softer demand for bikes and auto worker strikes hurting other aspects of the business. It reported $0.48 earnings per share, but analysts expected $0.82 per share! That triggered a 27% sell-off for the ["Neutral"]( stock on Friday. - Carvana Co. (NYSE: CVNA): It finally did it. CVNA posted its first annual profit ever on Thursday, and it was music to investors' ears. This stock is still rated ["Bearish,"]( but that could improve after this news. It already has a strong Momentum rating, and that was on display Friday as shares jumped 30% higher. This week’s biggest movers were rated all over the place in Adam’s Green Zone Power Ratings system.
