What are your goals for 2024? [Turn Your Images On] Have a Fantastic New Year! [Turn Your Images On] [Chad Stone]( Managing Editor Happy New Year! Markets are closed today, but we wanted to wish you well as 2024 kicks off. I’ve been mulling over my ambitions (as is tradition two days before the new year), and I’ve landed on two concrete goals for 2024. The first is personal. After taking up running over these last few months, I am going to run in the AJC Peachtree Road Race in July. My late father ran this race every year while I was growing up, so I’ll make the trek to Atlanta to honor him. Not sure I’ll be able to match his pace, though! My second goal is financial. Maybe you hoped I’d say that considering the line of work I’m in, ha! I am going to contribute an extra $5,000 in my 401(k) this year. I’ve been increasing my annual retirement contributions a little bit each year, but I’m ready to step it up in a big way. What about you? Have you come up with any resolutions or goals for the new year? We’d love to hear what you’re working toward! Write us a quick email to Feedback@MoneyandMarkets.com. We’ll feature some of your ambitions (keeping it anonymous, of course) in a future edition of Stock Power Daily! That’s all I’ve got for you in today’s edition. Adam O’Dell will chime in tomorrow with some of his biggest mega trends to track in 2024.
