My No. 1 goal for this year is to become a 900-rated disc golfer. Yes, competitive disc golf is a thing. My form is inefficient, my putt is inconsistent outside of 15 feet and my drives are accurate, but much shorter when compared to my competition in the amateur division. Achieving this goal is going to be a massive challenge. But I found a little secret: experts. As your resident Money & Markets millennial, I went to my favorite resource (YouTube) and found top professional disc golfers who break down their form and provide valuable information on all aspects of the sport. I’m now slowly applying some of these tips to my game. I’m simplifying my stroke and seeing results. And I know I wouldn’t be as excited as I am to hit the course this weekend if it wasn’t for those professionals showing me what’s possible — and how to achieve it.
