[Adam O'Dell,
Chief Investment Strategist]( It’s official. The Nasdaq 100 is now in “correction” territory. The index is 13% off its 52-week highs. The financial press loves precise definitions. A “correction” is a drop of at least 10% from recent highs, whereas a “bear market” is a drop of at least 20%. Now, I’m not a huge stickler for terminology. We no longer have that rising tide lifting all boats. We need to be careful. But little setbacks like these also present us with opportunities. This is the time to put together a list of stocks to buy once the dust has settled. [Michael Carr,
Editor]( [Donât Expect Back to Normal for the Economy â Hereâs Why]( As we approach the two-year anniversary of the pandemic, it’s reasonable to ask: Will we ever get back to normal? Increasingly, the answer seems to be no. We may never live as we did in January 2020, and a new normal is almost certain to emerge. Data in the chart below backs that opinion.
