(How 3 Stocks Rate) Editor's Note: Every week, you watch stocks from industries across the board pop (or drop), but you may wonder if it's time to buy in. That's what today's Money & Markets Daily is all about. We'll show you some of the week's biggest movers and then run them through Adam O'Dell's proprietary Green Zone Power Ratings to see how they stack up. - Shopify Inc. (NYSE: SHOP): Earnings season has triggered massive moves in stocks, and it happened on the downside for this popular e-commerce stock. After posting weak guidance for the rest of 2024, shares of SHOP dropped 18% on Wednesday before closing the week more than 20% lower than Monday's open. The drop may not be a huge surprise, considering it already rates ["Bearish"]( in Adam's system. The company still beat expectations on earnings per share and revenue. - Novavax Inc. (Nasdaq: NVAX): It was hard to ignore Friday's insane price pop for NVAX. The pharmaceutical company signed a multibillion-dollar deal with Sanofi to co-commercialize its Covid vaccine next year. The two are also working on combination shots that target both the flu and coronavirus. Investors couldn't get in fast enough, sending shares 130% higher at one point. But we'll have to wait and see if this deal improves NVAX's ["High-Risk"]( rating. - Roblox Corp. (NYSE: RBLX): Are your kids or grandkids still playing Roblox? If so, company executives need them to spend more money. Shares of RBLX crashed 22% on Thursday after the company announced it expects full-year bookings to come in at $4 billion, lower than expected. Roblox also beat on earnings per share (which are still at -$0.42) but missed on revenue. This is another stock that Green Zone Power Ratings has flagged as ["High-Risk"]( for months. â The Money & Markets team --------------------------------------------------------------- Top Research From the Last Week [Turn Your Images On]( [AI's Next Phase: Look at Data Center Stocks]( [Turn Your Images On]( [The AI Revolutionâs âInvisibleâ Bottleneck]( [Turn Your Images On]( [Microsoftâs $282,000 AI Secretâ¦]( [Turn Your Images On]( [Chart of the Day: Job Openings, Unemployment & Stagflation]( ---------------------------------------------------------------
