Now that I've been blogging for twelve (!!!) years, I especially value its time-capsule nature. But from the start, I've appreciated how it offers me a reason to sit down and write and work out what I'm thinking, like I'm doing today. Thanks for coming along for the ride. Almost exactly ten years ago, I wrote a blog post here about falling in love with a place—or, more specifically, choosing to love a place. (That top photo accompanied the original post back then.)
