Hey readers! A few weeks ago, Brenna (our [What Should I Read Next]( producer) created a new discussion channel in our team's Slack called "book talk" for our team to drop current reads, recommendations, and reading life triumphs or tragedies. As our feed filled up with bookish musings and enticing reviews, I thought, "Why didn't we do this sooner?" We love sharing our readerly revelations with each other—and with you! Today, our team is taking you behind the scenes of their reading lives AND celebrating our 300th episode of WSIRN (!!!) by sharing a book they read after hearing about it on the podcast, along with why they picked it up. This book list has a little bit of everything from mystery to science fiction to magic, and more—representing the kind of variety you'd find in our team's bookish conversations, and that you may enjoy on your own bookshelves. [Click here for the new book list](=)! If one of today’s titles intrigues you, go ahead and download the corresponding episode wherever you get your podcasts for more book recs and readerly conversation. And if YOU have a "WSIRN made me do it" reading moment, please share it with us [in the comments section](=)! We can't wait to hear about your favorite podcast-inspired reads. Happy reading! Anne P.S. In case you missed it, [my new reading journal](=), is now available at a bookstore near you! Thanks so much for the kind reception yesterday. Because of shipping delays and supply chain issues, now is the perfect time to purchase a copy for yourself or for your loved ones, so you'll be well-prepared to please your favorite bookworms this holiday season. If you’d like a signed copy, place an order from my local indie [Carmichael’s Bookstore](=). I just signed copies last night so they are ready to fulfill your order!
