Hey readers, I've noted a common theme in my conversations with readers of late: many of us want to read more of the backlist books on our TBR lists, but we're afraid of missing out on hot new releases. So I had a thought: instead of building our To Be Read piles from the New Release shelf at the bookstore or by scrolling #bookstagram, why not ask avid readers which books they recommend over and over again. In other words, if all the available books to read, which ones have legions of readers found to be unquestionably worth their reading time? Today's book list is packed full of avid readers' historical fiction recommendations. [Click here for the new book list]()! If you're looking for a well-told story to transport you to a different time, I hope you find your next great read on this list. Historical fiction fans, I'm sure you have one or two (or twelve) books to add. Please share them [in the comments section](), along with a few words to entice your fellow readers away from the FOMO and towards a great story. Happy reading! Anne P.S. If you don't get regular blog posts by email, you might have missed yesterday's post: [8 workout staples that make getting fit a little more fun](=). I got some great ideas from the comments section, too! [Modern Mrs Darcy]() | 291 N Hubbards Ln Ste 172-225, Louisville, Kentucky 40207 [Unsubscribe from all MMD emails](
