Hey readers! I have a beautiful new book list for you devoted to one of my favorite bookish topics:

Hey readers! I have a beautiful new book list for you devoted to one of my favorite bookish topics: AUDIOBOOKS. And today, I'm specifically focusing on the narrators who are crucial to a wonderful reading experience. I've heard so many readers say when it comes to audiobooks, the narrator can make it or break it. For better or worse, it's totally true. A talented audiobook narrator makes for a memorable listening experience. Great audio performances elevate and enhance a book and pull you in, going beyond on-paper reading for an immersive event. I feel the same joy discovering an excellent narrator as I do when finding a new favorite author. Thanks to years of audiobook listening, I've developed a roster of favorite narrators. Today I'm sharing TEN of those narrators, plus a few wonderful titles narrated by each one—which makes for a gloriously robust reading list across a variety of genres. (Originally I thought I'd just share five narrators but narrowing down my list to five was pure torture. So ten it is!) [Click here for today's new book list](). Come tell us about your favorite audiobooks [in the comments section](=). I'm also curious to hear how the pandemic has affected your audiobook listening for better or worse, so please feel free to jot a few lines about that as well. I hope you find a few new-to-you narrators today, as well as titles you're excited to add to your TBR. Happy reading, friends! Anne = Do you have a friend who would enjoy getting these emails? The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
