Hey readers! We've been trying something new this year and I hope you can be a part of it! On Monday

Hey readers! We've been trying something new this year and I hope you can be a part of it! On Monday, January 13 we have our next seasonal book preview: I'm sharing the 37 titles booksellers, publishers, and yours truly are most excited about for the winter months. (The publication dates on these books run from December 3 - March 3.) This special session is modeled after our Summer Reading Guide unboxing: I'll share the winter releases I've already read and loved, as well as the forthcoming releases I can't wait to get my hands on. We'll have tons of fun and you'll get a jump start on getting your preorders and library holds in. The Modern Mrs Darcy Book Club is devoted to community, classes, and conversation; in addition to these seasonal book previews we host monthly book club chats (including our forthcoming author chats for The Stationery Shop on January 27 and The Ten Thousand Doors of January on February 20) and classes like our [Book School]() sessions and [One Hour to a Better #Bookstagram](=). Plus, throughout the month our readers connect 24/7 for book talk, recommendations, encouragement, and enjoyment. Join us in Book Club this winter: if you jump in now you'll be just in time for Monday's Winter Book Preview. I'll be there live at 7pm EST, but like all our in-person events, we record these sessions so you can view them at any time, on your schedule. I hope to see you there! [Click here to get started](=). Happy reading! Anne Do you have a friend who would enjoy getting these emails? Please forward this email on to them. Flesch reading score

Flesch reading score measures how complex a text is. The lower the score, the more difficult the text is to read. The Flesch readability score uses the average length of your sentences (measured by the number of words) and the average number of syllables per word in an equation to calculate the reading ease. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables. Usually, a reading ease score of 60-70 is considered acceptable/normal for web copy.
