Hey readers! This week we have a fun sneak peek into my new book [Don’t Overthink It: Make Easier Decisions, Stop Second-Guessing, and Bring More Joy Into Your Life]( which comes out on March 3rd. Just like I did for [Reading People]( and [I'd Rather Be Reading](, I'm giving you the earliest glimpse of what's in the book: today I’m reading chapter 13, called “Small Shifts Toward Simple Abundance,” just for you. I chose this chapter because there’s a funny story in here that inspired the beautiful cover design AND because while overthinkers too often think themselves out of life’s simple pleasures I know we can smartly think our way into them. This chapter is a joy and I can’t wait to share it with you. This special episode with Chapter 13 is available on your favorite podcast app now and you can also [listen on the show notes page](. In addition to reading the chapter, I tell you more about the preorder bonuses and the launch team, which you've been asking about for months. I'm happy to finally be able to share. 3 Things I Love: - [Rebuilding the NPR Book Concierge](). This highlights both the technological challenge and the recommendation challenge. - Holiday break reading! Because reading is a huge part of my job, I wanted to choose vacation reads that didn't feel like work. I decided to spend my time with loads of [urban planning books]() and tons of backlist lit fic and mysteries. It's been GLORIOUS. - [A reading challenge for kids](=) from my friend Sarah Mackenzie. This starts January 1, so now's the time! 1 Thing I Don't: [Private equity firm agrees to buy OverDrive](). When I read Will this news, his exact reaction was, "That's not good." Maybe it will all work out for best, but I've talked to too many librarians about this to not be nervous. What I'm Reading Now: Before Christmas I told Will my holiday reading plans, which made him chuckle. I later learned that wasn't because he thought my plans were weird, but because he'd bought be a new urban planning book for Christmas! This week I've been reading his gift book, [Strong Towns](), which seems to fit right in with some of "[what worked for me in 2019](." Happy reading, and happy listening! Anne P.S. Today's ebook deals are really, really good, and even include some of [my 2019 favorites]()! [Click here for today's list](. You can also [click here to be added to our book deals email list](). I hope you find a good title or two for your e-reader, for less. [Modern Mrs Darcy](=) | 6000 Brownsboro Park Blvd Ste H, Louisville, Kentucky 40207 [Opt Out of What Should I Read Next?
