excited for you to get to see this... spent all day filming it [MOBE DAILY](41475b/ct0_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) [] [START YOUR BUSINESS](41475b/ct1_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) [] [SCALE YOUR BUSINESS](41475b/ct2_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) [] [GROW YOUR WEALTH](41475b/ct3_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) [] MOBE Daily #177 "Your brand is what other people say about you when you’re not in the room." ~ Jeff Bezos Hey, Before we get into today's MOBE Daily... I wanted to share this video I spent most of yesterday filming here in Fiji: [Serenity Island in the making (Documentary)](41475b/ct4_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) 41475b/ct4_1/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wtOver a year ago I bought an island with a small run down resort on it, as both an investment and also to host MOBE Masterminds out of. In January the renovations started. In May, we'll be hosting our first live event there. To say things are a little crazy here getting everything ready in time is a huge understatement. But I think we'll somehow just pull it off. I've put a few photos from the documentary in the rest of this email - go [check out the video,](41475b/ct4_2/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) I had fun making it, and I hope you enjoy it. Let's get into today's article... ********** If you've ever met me at one of our live events, you may have noticed that I love my Starbucks iced lattes. My drink is a Venti Ice Latte, with 2 extra shots, filled up with half an inch of milk and the rest with ice. And it's not just the products I love. It's also the Starbucks brand. As someone who travels between a lot of different countries, I appreciate being able to walk into a Starbucks and get the same consistent experience, no matter which country I'm in. The same smell of coffee. The same service behind the counter, from someone who genuinely enjoys working there. The same freedom to take your laptop and sit down for an hour in a quiet, comfortable environment. 41475b/ct4_3/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wtWith MOBE, I try to stay as consistent with our brand as Starbucks is with theirs. I think they do a much better job, but I'm trying to follow in their footsteps. A large part of that is in hiring the right people, especially those who interact with the customers. We're quite selective about who we hire for our phone team, our event speakers, our event success teams and our fulfilment teams. We want people who are friendly, professional and uphold our company values. If there's ever a case where someone on our team is interacting with our customers in the wrong way, or maybe one of our consultants is doing some kind of marketing we don't want to be associated with, I always want to address it fast. These kind of things impact on your company brand – and they can do serious damage to the brand if you don't nip them in the bud. I also pay a lot of attention to customer satisfaction and feedback. For example, whenever we've put on a mastermind, I've always been very careful to choose the right resorts (at least before buying me own). I always want them to be up to a very high standard, because our customers have invested a lot of money. We never want to go to a two-star cheap resort and deliver a mediocre experience. We want to protect our brand and keep everything on a high level of quality.41475b/ct4_4/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt As the founder of your company, you need to be the biggest advocate of your brand. Look at Richard Branson, for example. He's always doing anything he can do to get free publicity, because his charisma and personality are what people associate with the Virgin brand. Whenever I appear in the marketing for MOBE, I present an image that's really me. I don't pretend to be someone else. My personality isn't for everyone, and your personality won't be for everyone. Some people like me, others hate me. The only thing I care about is resonating with those who I'd like to have as clients. As long as your marketing reaches enough people, there will always be people in the group who resonate with you. 41475b/ct4_5/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wtYou have to be the one to put yourself out there, because your personality and your values are what your company brand grows out of. Don't be a CEO who hides behind a desk and a dull corporate brand. In this months copy of '[MOBE Advantage](41475b/ct5_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt)', my monthly print newsletter, I go into a lot more detail about building your brand and being consistent with it. I also show you things like; - How to get more traffic as you scale your business (from secret sources that cost less and convert better) - The trick to keeping your sales reps happy, motivated and producing maximum sales numbers every month - Phone sales tips to help you maximize your close rate, without making your customers feel "sold to" - Simple steps for growing your Instagram presence, even if you've never done Instagram marketing before - My must-tries, must-dos and must-reads for every entrepreneur (books, websites and tools that will turn you into a more knowledgeable and effective marketer) To get your hands on April's issue, just go to [www.mobeadvantage.com](41475b/ct5_1/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) [] [] [MOBE Daily#177-1](41475b/ct6_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) [] It's OK to Fail..., Just Fail Forward You will not be successful until you fail. There's nothing wrong with failing, as long as you fail forward. What does this mean? It means that instead of letting your failures crush you and make you feel like giving up, you treat them as learning experiences and opportunities to grow. You don't let them even so much as slow you down. In [this video](41475b/ct6_1/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt), filmed at the [Diamond Mastermind](41475b/ct7_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) in Mexico, Adam Holland gives you some tips for failing forward. Even when things work out horribly for them, and people don't like them, they're still excited and on fire. How are they able to ignite that fire and unlock that inner energy, while you're not? If your energy is just a 6 on a scale from 1 to 10, watch [this video](41475b/ct8_1/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt), filmed at the [Titanium Mastermind](41475b/ct9_0/1?sid=TV2%3AGADzbs2wt) in the Bahamas, to hear Jeff Gardner explain how to boost it to a 10.
