Check out these words of wisdom that will inspire you to take your well-being into your own hands Hi

Check out these words of wisdom that will inspire you to take your well-being into your own hands Hi {NAME}, As we near the end of our week-long WildFit Masterclass with Eric Edmeades, I just wanted to share some of his most memorable and inspiring quotes that will get you motivated to take your health to the next level. If you've watched any of the videos of Eric I've shared with you this week, then you know the man is filled with some of the most profound, life-changing ideas when it comes to health and nutrition. As you can imagine, narrowing down our favorite "Eric Edmeades quote" was no easy task. (But we tried anyway.)  [smiley] Here are five of our favorites...  #1 On The True Meaning Of The Word "Diet" We often associate the word "diet" as a temporary change to our eating habits for short-term weigh-loss. But the the true and original meaning of the word “diet” came from the Greek verb diaitasthan, which means  “to lead one’s life.” In other words, we should stop saying, “I’m going on a diet” and instead, changing it to: “I’m improving my way of life,” for good.  #2 On The Power Of Fruits And Vegetables Eating fruits and vegetables don’t automatically make you immune to diseases and viral bugs. Rather, it’s when you reduce your intake or not include them in your daily meals that cause your body to fail. As Eric mentions in his Masterclass, “People are massively overfed, and yet they are still malnourished.” [Check out the rest of the Eric Edmeades Quote Art here >>]( Or [Join me and Eric in our Masterclass: The Evolution of Health & Fitness >>](  #3 On The Price Of Our Eating Habits “An apple a day keeps the doctor away” is a simple idea that parents share with their young children. And yet illnesses due to poor dietary habits persists. In the long run, investing in healthier options and choosing to build a diet consisting of organic produce shouldn’t be seen as fashionable but more for its long-term benefits. The odds of a longer and healthier life plays in your favor.  #4 On Health & Longevity Keeping a well-balanced diet helps us to keep a well-balanced mind. There’s nothing more holistic than starting with what we consume. Small steps of being mindful of what we put into our body could help us to not only extend our life by a few more years but also ensuring those last few years won’t be painful. [Check out the rest of the Eric Edmeades Quote Art here >>]( Or [Join me and Eric in our Masterclass: The Evolution of Health & Fitness >>](  #5 On The Myth Of "Moderation" "Moderation" is subjective. Moderation for one person could be far too extreme for another. And many people have fallen into the trap of using the "as long as it's in moderation, it's ok" argument to justify eating unhealthy foods. (Don't worry... You're not alone, we've all done this before.) Eric really put it best when he said, "If you take a moderate approach to your diet, you’re going to have moderate health. We should be flexible in life, but there are core things our body needs to live a great life."
