Why Bianca Andreescu beat Serena Williams If you are having trouble viewing this email, [click here.]( [Mindvalley Logo]( This is a remarkable story about the power of the mind.  The power of how we can take the thoughts in our head and command them into reality.  Now, this power is not an exact science.  And different people suggest it works in different ways.  Some people say it’s about the power of belief.  Others say it’s about focused thought, and the convergence of free will and destiny.  But whatever it is, the story below is going to inspire you.  Bianca Andreescu was a 16-year-old Romanian girl.  She had read my book The Code of The Extraordinary Mind and also signed up for a Mindvalley seminar called Be Extraordinary.  The topic of the seminar was [The 6 Phase Meditation.](  And I taught a simple technique called the ‘Mental Screen.’  It’s derived from the work of José Silva, which teaches people how to create focused thought towards a goal they desire.  I personally used the ‘Mental Screen’ when I was in my teenage years to achieve a second black belt in martial arts.  In the seminar, I also shared how I used it to qualify for the US Open 1993 Taekwondo Championship.  Bianca was fascinated by this.  And she started applying creative visualization from the ages of 16 to 19 to see herself do the same. Mainly winning the US Open.  But in her case, it was a much bigger version of the US Open I aimed for when I was a teen.  It was the US Open Tennis Championship.  And her rival – Serena Williams.  In September 2019, this young Romanian teenager pulled it off.  At the age of just 19, Bianca Andreescu beat Serena Williams. [6 Phase Meditation Method]( According to press articles, she then ran to Serena to apologize. So when reporters caught up with her during the press conference – puzzled by her positive, happy and gracious nature of this Romanian-Canadian teen – they asked her how she did it.  Her response, much to the surprise of everyone, was…  “Where’s my phone? Where’s my phone?”  As Bianca showed up her phone, she showed the journalists my book The Code of the Extraordinary Mind.  What was the unique aspect of the book and Mindvalley training that helped Bianca?  I certainly can’t claim that it was only creative visualization or it was Mindvalley.  Bianca is a special person in many ways.  But in an interview with her on my Instagram shows, she does credit part of this success to the power of creative visualization, the concept of the ‘Mental Screen’, and the Be Extraordinary seminar she took and tweeted about. [6 Phase Meditation Method]( The Be Extraordinary seminar of course, focuses on one core methodology, The 6 Phase Meditation.  I’ve extracted this methodology, and with the backing Penguin-Randomhouse, turned it into my third book.  I’m excited about this book, and I’m excited about getting this methodology in your hands.  [Go here to check it out >>]( Keep Evolving, [Vishen Lakhiani Signoff] Vishen Founder - Mindvalley Author of [The Code of the Extraordinary Mind]( and [The Buddha and the Badass]( Follow The Real Me on [Instagram]( Step into your greatness [Join Mindvalley Today](www.mindvalley.com/membership?otag=footer) [Get it on Google Play](   [Download on the App Store]( [Mindvalley on Facebook]( [Mindvalley on Twitter]( [Mindvalley on Instagram]( [Mindvalley on Youtube]( [Mindvalley on Linkedin]( [Mindvalley on Telegram]( [Support Center]( | [Privacy Policy]( | [Unsubscribe]( | [Log In]( 14525 SW Millikan Way #31545 Beaverton, OR 97005-2343
