And I was going through a period in my life where I felt uninspired and lonely.  In the town I lived in, there weren’t many inspiring people that could keep me motivated.  I wasn’t meeting entrepreneurs that could fill my head with new ideas and possibilities.  So I decided to try an experiment.  Back then, I ran a tiny blog called ‘Finer Minds.’ And I sent an email to everybody who was subscribed to my blog, and I invited those who were interested to come and spend four days with me on a beach in Costa Rica.  The idea was to connect, surf, exercise, create TED-style talks, dance under the stars and inspire each other to go bigger in our lives.  I called it ‘Awesomeness Fest.’  I was shocked that over 250 crazy souls took me up on my offer. Among them were incredible speakers such as the famous MBA professor Srikumar Rao. Another was Chip Conley, one of the leading minds at Airbnb.  The speakers and audience connected so deeply that I realized this couldn’t remain as a one-off event.  So it continued happening every year.  And then twice a year.  We even changed the name to A-Fest.  But the only thing that slowed it down was the pandemic.  After three years, it’s back.  And I’m sending this open invitation to you, our Mindvalley subscribers, to apply to join us.  Visit: [a-fest.com/apply]( [A-Fest is Back]( Since the point of A-Fest is to bring deep human connection, and I haven’t figured out how to do this beyond 300 people, we only have limited spots available.  But if you’re someone who feels like you need more inspiration in your life or you need more connections with people who can elevate you, A-Fest is the place to be.  In the pictures below, you’ll get a better idea of what this event is about.  [And you can learn more here >>]( [A-Fest is Back]( Think of A-Fest as a giant group holiday with inspiring people.
