If we all rally together, we CAN make a difference.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌Â

If we all rally together, we CAN make a difference.  ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌  Hi {NAME}, I’m sure you’ve heard of the saddening news of the devastating forest fires in the Amazon. It’s an issue that is very close to my heart. In 2009, journeyed to the Amazon rainforest to spend seven days living with the Achuar people, a tribe that only recently made contact with modern civilization in 1979.  [Ben Greenfield](  These courageous and beautiful Achuar people risk their lives to save the rainforest, their home and our Earth’s lungs, from illegal logging. What’s fascinating about this tribe is that they are also known as ‘dream people’ (which is something I wrote about in my book The Code of the Extraordinary Mind). They’re called that because they seem to have a unique ability. They communicate with the outside world – through dreams. Sounds strange, doesn’t it? It gets stranger. Story goes, it was through this unique ability that they ‘found’ Lynne Twist, one of the world’s foremost activists, to come and support them in their quest to preserve the Amazon. And so I found myself accompanying Lynne and other activists, into the magical world of the Achuar people. [Ben Greenfield]( In 2013, together with Lynne, our Mindvalley A-Fest community raised $250,000 to buy up hundreds of acres of rainforest in Ecuador in our effort to protect and preserve it for future generations. And while this helped against bulldozers… It sadly doesn’t make it immune to the devastating forest fires we’re seeing right now. It breaks my heart to see what's happening in the Amazon rainforest today. And it’s made worse knowing that Brazil's nationalist president, Jair Bolsonaro, is doing little to help. While it may feel like a single contribution from one person can do little to halt, let alone reverse, the damage we’re seeing… … Together we can make a collective impact. If you’re as passionate about preserving the Amazon that all lives literally depend on, I invite you to watch this short video of Lynne Twist explaining just the small steps we can all make to heal Earth’s lungs. [>> Here’s What You Can Do To Help Amazonia]( There are many phenomenal organizations out there who are working hard on preserving the rainforest as we speak. Text with a very high Flesch reading ease score (about 100) is straightforward and easy to read, with short sentences and no words of more than two syllables.
