It all started as a wild experiment to cure my boredom and loneliness… [Mindvalley Logo]     In 2017, I got bored with my life. I was bored of the city I lived in – Kuala Lumpur. I wanted to meet new friends and surround myself with inspiring people that could give me new visions of life to pursue. And so I decided to move. Problem is… I had family, kids and work. I figured that the only way I could move to a new city would be for a month at most. So I planned to take my kids with me and I picked a city I was dying to visit. Barcelona. And then the reality of this idea hit me.   “Damn it. I’d just be lonely in Barcelona. How do I go to a new city and just meet people? How would my kids make new friends? How would I get my exposure to Mindvalley inspiration that I always crave?”   So I put up a post on Facebook and I asked if anybody would want to move with their family and kids to Barcelona with me. The idea was that we’d all get Airbnb’s in a similar neighborhood, rent a coworking space so we could get work done, and still be able to organize talks, presentations, masterminds, networking, party and city travel. And even create a pop-up school for our kids. I called it the Barcelona Experiment. Because of how crazy this idea was, I was expecting only around 20 people to join me. Instead, 300 people joined me. The 300 people who moved to Barcelona were CEOs, founders, digital nomads, Mindvalley authors and even a few celebrities. Like NFL Hall-of-Famer Tony Gonzalez and his wife, October Gonzalez, the star of Fox television’s hottest show at the time.   [Mindvalley University](   In an interview with Locale Magazine, this power couple described the experience as their “favorite vacation so far.” As this event grew, we then decided to give it a new name. We called it [Mindvalley University](.   [Get Early-Bird Tickets](   [Learn more](   Our next event wasn’t 300 people. It swelled to 1,000 people. And outside the pandemic that forced us to hit the pause button for two years, Mindvalley University kept growing year after year after year. Many attendees loved the experience so much that it became something of an annual pilgrimage. And many have simply made this three-week experience part of their yearly summer holiday plans. Today, I’m thrilled to announce that Mindvalley University returns to the incredible city of Tallinn, Estonia this summer. And we’re expecting up to 2,000 Mindvalley Members to move to Tallinn to create a pop-up community to bend our collective realities and bend reality itself.
