When I saw who was calling me, I knew I had to pick up immediately. [Mindvalley Logo]     It was midnight in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia when I received an unexpected call. My Skype started flashing on my computer and I saw that Barbara Marx Hubbard was calling me. If you’re not familiar with who Barbara Marx Hubbard is, let me just say this. Barbara (December 22, 1929 – April 10, 2019) was a living legend, and I had the honor of meeting with her in 2017 and together we developed a program based on her most powerful ideas on Mindvalley.   [Vishen with Barbara Marx Hubbard](   Barbara was a futurist and wrote multiple books on the evolution of humanity. In fact, she was so influential, a documentary was made about her called American Visionary. So knowing Barbara, I knew this call was important. I paraphrased our conversation below: “Vishen, I need you to help me get this urgent message out. It’s so important that the world hears it.” “What message, Barbara?”, I asked her. Barbara continued. “We need more women in positions of power, in politics, and as CEOs of companies. Because women have a special energy that the world needs right now. But we also have a problem. The way society functions today, many women move into motherhood in their thirties, and step away from their jobs and companies - and rightfully so. And once their kids grow up and they’re liberated from their role as caretakers - they’re able to re-enter the workforce. But many women hesitate. They hesitate because they lose their confidence. They hesitate because they think they’re too old. They hesitate because they believe they’ve lost years of competitive advantage after taking time away to raise their kids. But in actuality, women over 40 are the secrets to changing the world. All she needs is that confidence and push. The way the world is evolving right now is unsustainable. What we need is the compassion, love and community drive that all women possess as a natural advantage. This is why we need more women in our politics. We need more women starting companies. We need more women as CEOs. We need more women in positions of power. So if I can ask you one thing, as you build up Mindvalley, help inspire women to become leaders and to step up into positions of power.” When Barbara told me this, I didn’t fully know what to make of it. Barbara, who is a teacher on Mindvalley, and a truly inspirational soul, was certainly someone who’s advice I wouldn’t take lightly. Barbara passed away on April 10, 2019. And I wanted to commit to my promise to her. So, we wanted to create programs that would inspire women to understand that no matter their age, there is a powerful and crucial role they can play in the world. And there was one woman who intrigued me when I first interviewed her. Her name is Maye Musk. Maye, at the age of 75, has been a supermodel for the last 50 years and still graces the covers of prestigious publications like Vogue, Elle and TIME magazine. She’s also a powerful entrepreneur, sought-after dietician and bestselling author. Maye is the perfect embodiment of what Barbara wished to see more in the world. Extraordinary women and mothers – no matter their age – going out in the world and making their own personal dent in the universe. And today, I’m thrilled to announce that we’ve worked with Maye Musk to produce a new Quest that distills her greatest life lessons into a powerful and transformative 5-day journey.   Introducing: [Maye Musk’s 5 Rules of Life]( available on Mindvalley Membership)   [Maye Musk’s 5 Rules of Life](   [Learn more](   In her new Quest, Maye explores:   - 💪How a woman can develop her confidence to conquer the world no matter what age she may be. - 🧓How to recognize that aging is nothing more than a mindset, and with the right attitude, life can get exponentially better as you age. - 🗺️How to make a plan, and if you don’t necessarily know the right direction, how to know what next steps to take until you attain that plan. - ❤️And how not to worry about having to be in a relationship (Maye has been single for over four decades and loves it).   This entire program is designed to empower women. If this is something you’d be interested in, I invite you to learn more about this Quest and to start your Mindvalley Membership today.   [Explore Maye Musk’s 5 Rules of Life](   [Mindvalley Logo]( 14525 SW Millikan Way #31545 Beaverton, OR 97005-2343 [Get it on Google Play]( [Download on the App Store]( [Facebook icon]( [Twitter icon]( [Instagram icon]( [Youtube icon]( [Whatsapp icon]( [Telegram icon]( [LinkedIn icon]( [Support Center]( Policy](
