One simple mindset shift Walt Disney implemented to achieve massive success!

Hi I was watching a great documentary on the story of Walt Disney recently and the inspirational takeaways from the film were too good to keep to myself, I had to share them with you... Do you know what inspired Walt Disney to become such a huge animation film legend? After watching movie after movie, Walt was convinced that he could make something even better than what was already out there. He was driven by the powerful vision that grew in his mind. Walt's father had a long series of failures and expected Walt to work for him. Walt knew that he had to create a future that he wanted for himself instead of just settling for his fathers unrealistic expectations of him. When Walt Disney told his father of his new line of success with his company laugh-a-gram films his father told him "don't expect your success to last". This drove Walt to be even more successful, he saw pain in the way his father lived his life and Walt would not settle for less. He saw value in what he did and believed in himself. He fuelled his ambition with the thought that his future will be bigger and better than ever before. [Image] His company was going under and nearly bankrupt while he was creating "Alice In Wonderland". After the success of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, while he was working on the ideas behind Pinnochio he stood up during a brainstorm session with his team and started yelling and standing in unwavering conviction saying to the others in the room: "We aren't making cartoons, we are making art!" Walt mentally separated himself from the other animators out there who were not thinking on a new level. He wanted to emotionally move people through his movies, he wanted them to have an emotional experience while they viewed his films. I don't know about you but this inspires me to create art that last throughout the ages. This challenges me to think, act and do things differently. What art are you creating?
