[THESE INCREDIBLE IMAGES WILL CHANGE HOW YOU SEE THE WORLD]( Why time-tracking is essential for staying focused [Why time-tracking is essential for staying focused ]( I realized how many hours I was wasting when I did this. Ever misquote a project because you grossly underestimated the time you'd spend on it? (I'm definitely guilty of this.) Most of the time, we have no idea how much time we're spending on a project... or sometimes on Linkedin, amiright? 😉 Then I started using two different timers to help maximize my creative output: 1. [Toggl]( (to track my time) 2. [Pomotimer]( (to help me create a strategic workflow) I noticed several things immediately: ❌ I spent a LOT of time doing admin tasks like email. ❌ I was underestimating the time I spent on client projects. ❌ Constant task-switching was ruining my focus. Now that I knew the things I could work on, it didn't take long to fix them and create a much more strategic workflow. Ready to hyper-focus your work and learn how to save time? [Here's an article that helped me understand how valuable time tracking could be for my freelance business]( MEET A FELLOW MIGHTY DEALS DESIGNER [MEET A FELLOW MIGHTY DEALS DESIGNER] IMAGE OWNED BY VIOREL FLORIN COSTEA Created by Viorel Florin Costea using . Well, here's something reassuring: there's an easy, natural way to keep the mind sharp, so that you can power through your to-do list... AND take the dog out before she pees on the floor. Thousands of freelancers swear by this unique solution: ...and all you need is 30 seconds, a glass of water, and this special ingredient 👇 [Click here to wipe out brain fatigue and take back control of your mental clarity!]( 5 WAYS TO LEVEL UP YOUR FOCUS [5 WAYS TO LEVEL UP YOUR FOCUS]( Time-trackers are helpful, but a habit of focus is the real deal. So I experimented with timetrackers and pomodoro timers to help me focus. As part of my focus experiment, I also found several more methods to level up my creative workflow and help me stay focused for longer periods of time. Here they are: 1. Create a focus playlist with some of your favorite instrumental songs and only listen to it when you want to zone in on something. It's weird, but it works! I have two focus playlists on Spotify: [Write Fast]( and [Get in the Zone.]( 2. Meditate. Over [23 different studies]( have shown meditation improves focus. 3. Exercise every day. (Your mother could have told you this one.) I know it's [common knowledge,]( but many creatives get caught up in their work and forget to move their bodies! Don't be that person. 4. Have a focus drink. This is the same concept as the playlist-it "tricks" your brain into focusing every time you pick up the specific drink. I like mint tea, but you could choose any other drink you love! Have you tried any of these focus hacks? MEME OF THE WEEK [MEME OF THE WEEK ]( Nothing motivates me like a good Yoda quote.
