Friend, Right-wing extremists are upping their attacks on reproductive freedom across the country. Just take a look at everything that happened in just the last week: - A Trump-appointed federal judge in Texas overruled the FDA, banning the sale of mifepristone, a medication that’s been used to safely end pregnancies since the year 2000. The decision has created chaos, fear, and confusion across the country, including here in Michigan. - Governor Ron DeSantis signed a 6-week abortion ban bill into law in Florida. In cases of rape and incest, Florida women will now have to provide “proof” to get an abortion. [Look, if we don’t make our voices heard, extremists on the far right will keep going. They won't stop until they've completely ended reproductive freedom in America.]( It’s this simple: Women deserve to make their own health care decisions. The decision to have an abortion is a deeply personal one. A judge or politician should never be the one to decide. I believe with all my heart that we can win this fight and regain momentum. But, to do so, we need to act. [Please join me in this critical fight by signing the petition and sharing it with your friends and family. Let's show the world that we will not be silenced and will fight for all women's rights.]( Thank you for standing with me.
