TX-15 deserves a congresswoman who will defend reproductive freedom and protect our families. {NAME}

TX-15 deserves a congresswoman who will defend reproductive freedom and protect our families. {NAME}, Texas is in the news for yet another heartbreaking abortion horror story caused by our state’s restrictive abortion ban. When Taylor Edwards, a Texan woman with polycystic ovarian syndrome, was told that her unborn baby was going to die it was “the worst day of her life.” She and her husband sought out a second opinion and a third, but everywhere she turned she was told that there was no possibility that her unborn child would survive. Then she learned that if she was to carry the pregnancy to term, she would be facing serious health risks. Even though it was the last thing she wanted, Taylor needed an abortion. With her health at risk and her pregnancy not viable, an abortion was her only option. Thanks to Texas’ restrictive abortion ban, Taylor, like Kate Cox, was forced to leave the state to get the healthcare she needed. [Our Texas women deserve a congresswoman who will defend reproductive freedom and protect our families, not force a woman to carry a life-threatening and non-viable pregnancy to term. Will you make a contribution right now so that I can get to Washington and be the pro-choice leader that South Texas deserves?]( If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll instantly process your split contribution to Michelle Vallejo and Powered by People: [Contribute $5 »]( [Contribute $10 »]( [Contribute $22 »]( [Contribute $50 »]( [Contribute $100 »]( [Contribute other »]( Taylor said the whole experience was “emotional torture,” thanks to the Texas abortion ban. It breaks my heart to hear both Kate Cox’s story and Taylor Edwards’ story. And {NAME}, these types of abortion horror stories aren’t going away. For every story we do hear there are hundreds more. As long as we have Republicans like Monica De La Cruz and Greg Abbott in office, we’re going to continue to hear more stories like Taylor Edwards’ and Kate Cox’s. South Texas deserves a pro-choice leader who will restore our right to decide when, where and how we want to grow our family. Even though she didn’t sign the abortion ban into law, Monica De La Cruz in TX-15 enthusiastically praised the bill and supports a nationwide abortion ban. Politicians like Monica De La Cruz stand against our fundamental freedoms and cannot be counted on to protect Texas women. [Will you make a contribution now to defend Texas women’s right to reproductive healthcare and get real, pro-choice leadership into Congress? I’m the only pro-choice candidate in this race and I’m ready to be the advocate South Texas deserves.]( In solidarity, Michelle Vallejo [Like on Facebook]( [Follow on Instagram]( [Follow on Twitter]( Paid for by Michelle Vallejo for Congress Michelle Vallejo for Congress PO Box 1265 Mission, TX 78573 This email was sent to [{EMAIL}](#).
