Sanjay Raut is kingpin of Khichdi scam in Maharashtra, alleges Sanjay Nirupam Former Congress leader Sanjay Nirupam on Monday addressed a press conference in which he alleged that Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut is the kingpin of Khichdi scam. Meanwhile, Raut is the second leader from Shiv Sena (UBT) who is facing allegations of being involved in the alleged Khichdi scam case. Earlier in the day, Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Amol Kirtikar appeared before the Enforcement Directorate after being summoned by the probe agency. Addressing a presser on Monday, the now-expelled Congress leader Nirupam, while calling Raut a kingpin in the alleged scam, said, "The kingpin in this whole scam is Sanjay Raut... in this scam, he has taken money in the name of his daughter, brother and partner...He has taken bribes through cheques in the name of his daughter Vidhita Sanjay Raut, who herself is innocent and unaware of these things."
