Music Director Yannick Nézet-Séguin will be on the podium for the momentous occasion, and baritone Will Liverman (pictured above) stars in Blanchard’s operatic adaptation of the moving memoir by Charles M. Blow. Don’t forget: If you can’t make it to the Met for Opening Night, you can visit Times Square or Marcus Garvey Park to watch a free simulcast of the performance.
